The group “Anissa & mars Drive” was born from the encounter of Anissa Derkaoui, Moroccan singer, with François Possémé, author-composer and artistic director.
“Anissa has interpreted a traditional repertory of songs into a lot of countries in Morocco. Her will to go up again on the stage echoed with François Possémé, co-founder member and author-composer of “Complot Bronswick”’s group , he also was part of the group “Arkan” with Eric Trochu , next they created “Mars Drive” ( electronic music).
Charmed by Anissa’s voice, François possémé used his experience in artistic productions to compose rapidly the music for her. The result is a harmonious cocktail of electronic musics sublimated by an oriental singing from Egypt and an arabo- andalou singing from morocco.
Anissa has song with Mars Drive in July 2000 : Festival “Quartiers d’été” Rennes, in October 2000 : “Aire Libre” St Jacques de la lande. In 2000, she also was part of “Sansao” spectacle by Pascal Lamour : Aire Libre Rennes and Festival “Art Rock” Saint-Brieuc.
In January 2002, Anissa & Mars Drive were in residence at the Aire Libre theatre for two concerts in February. In March 2003 : Festival “Traveling Dublin” Rennes. They were into “Guilvinec” in May 2003…

A fabulous travel in a part of Orient is waiting for the spectators : carpets, low tables, mint tea and oriental cakes... Beyond the scenery, there is an attention to the public, the wish to welcome ... and offer the best. A background projection of images : nocturnal atmosphère, Medina de Fes ‘s door, Djemaa el Fna square... The heat happens when Anissa comes in the stage. Her incomparable voice is accompanied by François Possémé’s music which volume increases progressively. Electronic sounds are getting more and more dense. Then Pascal Lamour brings up his Bulgarian cornemuse, and plays solos with the might off an electric guitar.
